Founded in 1982, Western Seas Freight (WSF) is one of the oldest freight forwarders in the United Arab Emirates. It operates out of a city office in Dubai and a free zone office in Jebel Ali, besides having closed and open storage facilities. The registered office is located at Al Ramoul, Rashidiya, a stone’s throw away from the Dubai International Airport, which also houses the storage facilities. The activities include air/sea unimodal/multimodal freight operations, trans-Middle East land transportation, third party logistics and oversize/project cargo management.
The client list of the company features some of the biggest business names, globally and locally. As a United Nations approved vendor, WSF has served various UN agencies such as United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) and United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF). One of the core competencies of the company is its experience-backed ability to manage complex outsize/project cargoes. The company has provided end-to-end transfer services of several land rigs and has transported critical rig equipment, humanitarian goods, crane and heavy equipment and a host of other project cargoes.
